Acoustic doors lead the way in noise control. With certified noise reduction from 41 db to 56 db, when it comes to keeping sound in or noise out, our Acoustic door can be configured to meet your needs. Suitable for use in noise-sensitive environments, such as recording studios, generator rooms, cinemas, nightclubs and churches. Acoustidor is certified to EN ISO 140-3. With a leaf thickness of either 75mm or 100mm, this can be supplied in four versions, rated to 41dB, 47dB, 53dB and 56dB to meet your acoustic needs.

Acoustic Performance & Noise Reduction

• Certified to EN ISO 140-3, our doors offer four acoustic ratings:
  • 41dB, 47dB, 53dB, and 56dB
• Available with door leaf thicknesses of 75mm or 100mm, depending on the required level of sound insulation.
• Purpose-built to reduce airborne noise transmission in both directions.

Door Frame

• Manufactured from 2mm Zintec or Rustec steel.
• Single rebated 100mm wide frame with additional rebate for flush lip as standard.
• Double rebate frame available on request for enhanced performance.

Door Seal

• A threshold seal to ensure soundproofing around the frame.

Finish

• Supplied powder-coated in a standard polyester finish for durability.
• Finish is suitable for internal and external environments with excellent resistance to corrosion and wear.

Composition

• Double-walled door leaf constructed from galvanised steel sheeting.
• The interior is filled with high-density acoustic insulation for optimal sound reduction.
