Insulated sectional garage doors can be operated in either manual or electric mode. A spring-loaded shoot bolt is available for extra security with electric doors, which are equipped with an interlock facility to prevent operation while the shoot bolts are engaged. A remote control is used for electric operation while a safe but simple pull code is used for manual operation.
